   .: About the Instructors

Casey and Crystal Reinl

Everyone's Law School Co-Founders Casey Reinl, J.D., M.P.S. and Crystal Reinl, J.D. have been together since high school where Crystal graduated in just 3 years. They went through high school, college, law school, several jobs (including working on Wayne Westcott and Gary Reinl's Rodale Press book "Get Stronger, Feel Younger"), and several internships together (including FL's State Attorney's Office and the Juvenile Division of Barry University Law School's Legal Clinic), and they each volunteered 100+ hours together at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida caring for injured wildlife.

During college, they co-authored a manuscript (Senior Year: How to Avoid a Ticket… To Your Own Funeral) about teenage driving where they interviewed 50+ parents who had a child killed in an auto crash and over 50 experts from every imaginable angle of an auto crash. They each received their Juris Doctorates in 2010 from Florida A&M College of Law following college at Florida Gulf Coast University (where they graduated in 2007 with Legal Studies and Criminal Justice Double-Majors in 3 years while working part-time +) and Casey's Masters Degree (Political Management) from George Washington University in 2009. Additionally, Crystal took many graduate school courses in Instructional Systems (Distance Learning Major) at Florida State University (like Casey, simultaneous to law school), and she is a web designer (including Everyone's Law School). Finally, Casey is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Policy & Administration, and Crystal is pursuing a Doctorate in Computer Science from Colorado Tech.

They both have extensive experience in online education, each having completed dozens of online classes between high school, college, and graduate school. Crystal also completed a wholly-online instructional systems internship where she developed tutorials to teach others online. As such, they are strong believers in the power and flexibility of a good online program. Casey and Crystal married in 2010 and enjoy hiking, beach walks, weight-lifting, playing video games, and traveling (they traveled the entire U.S. in 2010). Casey is a marathon runner, mud runner, and inline-skate marathoner and is the 4th consecutive generation to open a business (his great-grandfather (baker), grandfather (contractor), and father (Nautilus gym owner) all had successful businesses in the Philadelphia area). Crystal is an avid walker, artist, and loves to cook vegan meals (both are long-time vegans).

Finally, concurrent to Everyone's Law School, they are authoring a manuscript called "Out-Law(yers): Do More Than Practice. The project's focus is the many law grads, both current and throughout history, who are noteworthy for something other than the law. The vast majority of these people are non-practicing lawyers, but some are multi-talented practicing attorneys (such as science PhD's). We are conducting interviews for this project with many of these current people and learning how they apply the legal process in their chosen field, from famous people like forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht to business leaders such as Select Medical co-founder and CEO Bob Ortenzio, from medical doctors to religious leaders, and even from college athletic directors to bridal designers. We have also conducted extensive research on the stories of people from the past (e.g. Colonel Sanders, Mahatma Gandhi, and the inventor of Sweet'n Low). The collective wisdom of these people, both past and present, is stunning and will hopefully make for a superb and informative read for non-lawyers and lawyers alike. Our goal is to explain to people the value of possessing the legal process and recommend to those not interested in law school (at least not now) to take one of our "Everyone's Law School" law school highlights programs to learn the basics of what all of these successful people have learned. We have already compiled an exhaustive list of these people, which you can watch in video format here or in list form here.

Building the Bridge from Law School

Back to

the Community

This is the story of two law school graduates, Casey and Crystal Reinl, who went to law school not to practice law, but to learn to think and speak like lawyers and then build a bridge from law school back to the community so citizens could get the tools that they need to achieve their goals. When they were students at Barron Collier High School they decided that they were ultimately going to complete law school. This was not based on any desire to argue before a judge, but rather the desire to succeed in life.
